Babysitting Course
The St. John's Ambulance Babysitting Course is coming
to Fort Langley 3 times in 2010. Each are on a Saturday
from 9am to 4pm and will be located in St. Andrew's
United Church Hall at 9025 Glover Rd, Fort Langley.
This course teaches the basic skills needed in
babysitting, accident prevention, first aid and CPR.
Students will learn to handle potential emergencies such
as choking, poisoning, burns and bleeding. They will
learn the basics in caring for Toddlers and
Pre-schoolers as well as general skills needed to become
a first class, reliable babysitter. Participants much be
at least 11 years old. Participants will receive a St.
John's Ambulance Babysitting Certificate upon successful
completion. Please bring an lunch.
Cost of course is $49.
A Babysitting Kit is Option for the price of $15
which contains: 4BZK cleansing wipes, 12 assorted
bandages, 2 4x4 gauze, 1 gauze roll, 2 pairs vinyl
gloves, 1 flashlight, 1 babysitter emergency numbers
note pad, 1 pen, all included in a nylon book bag with
St. John's Ambulance Logo.
Session A: Saturday, Feb 27th, 2010 - completed
Session B: Saturday, May 22nd, 2010
Session C: Saturday Sept 25th, 2010
All proceeds to go the St.Andrew's United Church
Sunday School Program.
